The PHCCWA Annual Business Meeting is where progress is celebrated, plans are set, and leadership is chosen for the year ahead.

As a member, you’ll play an active role in guiding our association:

🗳️ Board Elections: Vote for new Directors and the next Vice President.

📊 Year-in-Review: Reflect on the milestones and wins we’ve achieved together.

📅 Looking Ahead: Be among the first to hear what’s on the horizon and how you can get involved.

🤝 Community Connection: Share a meal, strengthen relationships, and stand alongside peers who are building the future of our industry in Washington.

With dinner, engaging updates, and the energy of our community in one room, this evening represents the heart of PHCCWA. Don’t miss your chance to connect, contribute, and be part of where we go next.

Thank You to Our Dinner Sponsor, Linescape!

Each PHCCWA member company appoints a representative to cast their vote in the 2026 Board of Directors election. Voting will take place in-person during the Annual Business Meeting for directors - only the Vice President can be voted for ahead of time via e-mail if you or a representative from your company cannot attend the Annual Business Meeting.

Please contact us if you need to vote for Vice President via email (directors can only be voted for in-person at the meeting).

Rich Rye - Director of Sales and Marketing, 1-800 Water Damage of Seattle

If you don't know me, I am Rich Rye, your Water Damage Guy from 1-800 Water Damage. I have been a proud member of the PHCC, locally since 2002 & I have been able to have the corporate part of our company become National Sponsors of the PHCC as well. The relationships I have built over time with company owners and members of the organization has been a pleasure to say the least. Supporting and hosting events, serving on the BOD and committees has been something I take great pride in. If elected to the New BOD I look forward to the opportunity to be a part of the future growth of this great organization. Thank you for your consideration.

Martin LaVergne - Owner, LaVergne's Plumbing & Heating

I’m honored to be nominated for a position on the PHCC of Washington Board of Directors. At this stage in my career, I feel it’s time to give back to the trade and community that have given me so much over the years.

I currently am an operator in a service-only plumbing company, LaVergne's Plumbing & Heating, in Whatcom and Skagit Counties, where our focus is on excellence in service operations and professional growth. Our shop has become a hub for collaboration, opening our doors to other contractors to share best practices, processes, and operational insights that help strengthen our entire industry.

Throughout my career, I’ve built companies, sold companies, and weathered the challenges that come with small business ownership. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed and sustain a business in today’s evolving marketplace. My goal in serving on the PHCC, WA Board is to use those lessons to help others offering mentorship, practical guidance, and encouragement to fellow contractors navigating similar paths.

My journey began in the late 1970s working in my family’s plumbing business, which later expanded to operations in Seattle and eventually back to Whatcom and Skagit County. After decades in the trade, I’m passionate about sharing the knowledge and hard-earned experience that have carried me through each stage of business and life in the trades.

I look forward to the opportunity to serve, contribute, and help strengthen the future of plumbing in Washington State.
