Association Logo Usage Policy
1. Introduction
The logo of PHCC of WA is a key symbol of our identity, reflecting our mission, values, and reputation. This policy governs the appropriate and approved uses of PHCC of WA’s logo by its members, ensuring consistency and professionalism while safeguarding the logo’s integrity.
By using PHCC of WA’s logo, members explicitly agree to comply with the terms outlined in this policy.
2. Authorized Uses
Members of PHCC of WA in good standing are permitted to use the logo in the following ways:
- On Company Websites: Members may display the logo on their company websites to indicate their affiliation with PHCC of WA, typically in a section such as "Affiliations," "Partners," etc. and should include a link back to the PHCC of WA website.
- On Marketing Materials: Members may include the logo on promotional materials such as company brochures, business cards, and event banners to highlight their membership or participation in activities directly related to PHCC of WA.
These uses must always align with PHCC of WA’s Terms of Service, mission, and values.
3. Prohibited Uses
PHCC of WA’s logo must not be used in any of the following ways:
- Endorsements: Implying the PHCC of WA endorses, sponsors, or approves specific products, services, or activities without explicit written consent.
- Misleading Content: Associating the PHCC of WA logo with false, defamatory, or misleading claims.
- Conflicting Activities: Using the PHCC of WA logo in connection with events, products, or services that conflict with the PHCC of WA’s mission or ethics.
- Alterations: Changing the PHCC of WA logo’s design, such as altering its colors, proportions, typography, or any other elements.
For example, the logo must not be stretched, cropped, or recolored in any way that deviates from its official form.
4. Design Standards
To maintain uniformity and professionalism, the following guidelines apply to all uses of the logo:
- Clear Space: A minimum clear space must surround logo, ensuring it is unobstructed.
- Resolution: The logo must be used in high resolution to avoid pixelation or blurriness.
- Official Variations: Only approved color options like the colors in the provided downloads may be used. The logo colors cannot be altered in any way without explicit approval from PHCC of WA in writing.
These standards help ensure the logo remains consistent and recognizable across all platforms.
5. Request for Approval
While members are granted general permission to use the logo on their websites and brochures, any use beyond these approved scenarios requires prior written approval. Members must submit requests with details such as:
- The specific use case for the logo.
- The platform or material where it will appear.
- The duration of its use.
The PHCC of WA reserves the right to approve, deny, or suggest modifications to the proposed usage.
6. Enforcement and Consequences
Improper or unauthorized use of the logo may result in:
- Immediate written notice to cease misuse.
- Temporary or permanent revocation of logo usage privileges.
- Revocation of PHCC of WA membership.
- Further actions as outlined in PHCC of WA's bylaws, including possible legal proceedings.
These measures are in place to protect the PHCC of WA’s reputation and intellectual property.
7. Updates to the Policy
PHCC of WA may revise this policy as needed. Members will be informed of updates, and adherence to the most current version is required.
