No Hours Left Behind How-To Guide

This guide will help you get comfortable using No Hours Left Behind. Each section is designed to be practical and easy to follow, so you can move at your own pace and come back whenever you need a refresher.

Before You Begin

First, be sure you are logged into your PHCCWA account, as being logged in is critical to using No Hours Left Behind. If you do not have a PHCCWA account, you must create one to proceed.

Anyone managing No Hours Left Behind for a company must have their own PHCCWA account.

Before you begin, gather the information below and review the resources on this page. This will make setup faster and help ensure accurate use of the platform.

1. Assign Persons to Manage No Hours Left Behind/Update Company Information
  • Confirm who on your team will manage No Hours Left Behind.
    • Make sure the appropriate team members have login credentials on the PHCCWA website.
  • Review and update company information in your PHCCWA dashboard under the Company tab.
    • If you do not have access to a Company tab, that means you do not currently have management permissions in the PHCCWA system. Contact your company's leadership to request permission, which they can add in their dashboard under the People tab by clicking "Give Management Access" to select persons.

2. Information to Gather/Update
  • A list of plumbers and trainees who need to be tracked in the system.
  • Current plumbing license information for each employee, including license type and expiration dates
    • You may need look this information up on the L&I website when adding plumbers and trainees to No Hours Left Behind.
  • Continuing education details, if available.
    • Continuing education details for each plumber and trainee can also be found on the L&I website.
3. Timing and Expectations
  • Initial setup is best done when you can focus without interruptions.
  • You can save your progress and return at any time.
  • Not everything needs to be perfect on day one. You can update information as you go.
  • The expectations with this tool is that management users will login as needed throughout the year to update information regularly.

  • No Hours Left Behind is designed to support compliance, not replace professional or regulatory advice.
  • The platform currently focuses on plumbing licenses and requirements, with additional features and trade support planned on the roadmap.
  • This guide reflects the current version of the platform and will be updated as new features are released.

Logging into No Hours Left Behind

You will need to be logged into your PHCCWA account to login to No Hours Left Behind.

Tab Breakdowns in No Hours Left Behind


Dashboard Tab

Look on the right-hand side to ensure your company's UBI and contractor registration(s) is showing in the gray Business Info box. If not, review and update company information in your PHCCWA member dashboard under the Company tab.

When beginning, you will not see information about plumbers and trainees in the Dashboard tab until you add the information in the Plumbers & Trainees tab.

Once information is added in the Plumbers & Trainees tab, their information will populate on the Dashboard tab for admins to review. By clicking individual people, admins can review license information, missing information, Continuing Education information, L&I link (populated after licenses are added), as well as edit a person's record.

For Continuing Education, it is in the Dashboard where admins will enter Continuing Education credits (it is helpful to click the L&I link to review reported hours and check with plumbers/trainees that hours are correct). Admins can email Continuing Education reports from the Dashboard as well to plumbers, trainees, or any other parties who may need to review the information for accuracy.

Plumbers & Trainees Tab

Click the green "Add New Record" to add a person. Add information and save the record. After saving the record, click the record or the record's "Edit" button to open and add license information on the right-hand side by clicking the green "Add License" button. Adding licenses will populate the person's L&I link automatically for them, which is accessible in the Dashboard tab.

A bulk upload tool is coming, if you have more than 10 records to add please contact us.

Hours & Affidavits: Record Training Hours Tab

This tab is where you will log trainee hours. No Hours Left Behind utilizes the ratio restrictions set by L&I to ensure that no one is over-given hours. That said, be sure you've entered the information correctly for the plumbers/trainees so that the system can accurately put those restrictions in place.

You can add hours as often as needed by clicking on the person's row or by clicking the "Edit" button on the row; that said, No Hours Left Behind is broken down into quarterly views since L&I outlines the restrictions per quarter. 

You may edit hours attributed to a trainee so long as affidavit has not been printed. Once printed, you would need to delete the affidavit to edit any hours that were logged for that affidavit.


Hours & Affidavits: Print Affidavits

You should not print a quarterly affidavit to submit to L&I - you should combine quarters to print one yearly affidavit to submit to L&I (this is recommended directly from L&I). 

In the Waiting to Be Printed queue, it is here that you will check all applicable hours from each quarter for a trainee to print a yearly affidavit.

Note: affidavits are created per supervisor for a trainee. You can only select applicable hours per a trainee and a specific supervisor to print an affidavit. You may have several affidavits per trainee to print if they had multiple supervisors throughout the year.

After selecting the appropriate hours per trainee, you will click the green "Save Affidavit" button to generate the affidavit. It will open in a new tab and allow admins to print the affidavit.

While No Hours Left Behind makes every effort to be correct, it is still highly recommended that you review each and every affidavit. 

After saving the affidavit, it will be available in the Saved Affidavit queue to re-print as needed.

Reports: Full CEUs Report Tab & Full Trainee Hours Log Tab

In the Full CEUs Report sub-tab admins can see a larger picture of all plumbers and trainee hours at once rather than at the per-person level you see in the Dashboard tab. Admins may also download a report of all persons and their current status of Continuing Education credits.

In the Full Trainee Hours Log sub-tab, admins can see a detailed breakdown of all hours submitted. The report can be filtered down to specific persons, time periods, etc.

The Full Trainee Hours Log report is helpful should an audit ever arise, allowing the download of each instance hours were added to No Hours Left Behind. Although this information isn't required per-affidavit, it is an extra layer of protection for contractors and their crews when details are needed.
